About JPE

The Judicial Professional Employees Union (JPE) is a State of Connecticut employee bargaining unit comprised of over 1300 members who work in 80 different job classes at nearly as many different job site locations. JPE members provide direct court services and support services to the citizens of Connecticut. Nearly half of the bargaining unit are “hazardous duty” job classes composed of Adult and Juvenile Probation Officers and Juvenile Detention Staff.
